We undertake to protect the data of our business partners who visit our website. All personal data are collected, processed and used in accordance with the respectively valid provisions for the protection of personal data primarily for the purpose of the services commissioned by you and to process your enquiries. Third parties will only be provided with the saved data in the manner described in this statement. Of course, no personal data will be forwarded to advertising companies.

Setting up and usage of a web shop customer account
Our web shop, among others, is available to you for electronic orders. If you would like access, this will be set up by us.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us:
In your customer account, you can view and administer all your inventory data saved at our company. It is your responsibility to treat the personal access data as confidential and not to make them accessible to any unauthorised third party. We cannot assume any liability for passwords that are misused unless we are responsible for the misuse.
.Collection, processing and usage of the personal data within the framework of the order process via the web shop
The data fields marked within the framework of the order process as mandatory are required by us to fulfil your order. We therefore collect, save and process your data for the entire handling of your purchase, including any subsequent warranties, for our services, the technical administration and to prevent crimes and fraud. Your personal data will only be forwarded to third parties if this is permitted by law, including for the purpose of handling the contract or for settlement purposes, or if you have given your prior consent. Within the framework of the order and contract handling, for instance, the service providers used by us (e.g. banks, logistics companies) received the necessary data for the order and contract handling. The data forwarded in this way may only be used by our service providers to fulfil their tasks.
Usage of your data for advertising purposes
In addition to the processing of your data for the handling of your purchase, we also use your data to recommend products to you that could interest you. In this regard, you have either given us your consent beforehand (e.g. to receive the newsletter) or there is a predominantly legitimate interest on our part to send you the offers that are similar to your original order. We commission a service provider to send the recommendations. The latter has undertaken towards us to comply with the valid provisions under data privacy law. Further information can be found at service-lenses@mpg-eyewear.com.

These are the form of address, the full name and the address, the e-mail address and in individual cases the telephone number if contact at short notice is required. These data are first used to notify the winners by e-mail, post and/or telephone. The address data are also used to send out the prizes. In part, the cooperation partner involved in each case who provides the prizes will take over the sending out of the prizes under their own responsibility. In this case, the address data will be sent to the respective cooperation partner for the designated purpose. The data will not be sent to other third-party companies.
For statistical purposes, we analyse how many participants participated in the respective competition. This analysis does not permit any conclusions as to the identity of individual participants.

Based on these files, your computer will be recognised again by us on your next visit and we can, for example, display information that is tailored to your interests and make shopping on our site as convenient as possible for you.
Accepting cookies is not a prerequisite for visiting our website. However, the usage of the shopping cart function and the ordering of products are only possible with the activation of cookies.
